Project

IAs part of the coursework for Systems Thinking, I conducted a lifecycle analysis on a garment I designed while at Kohl's. While entering the components into Sustainable Minds software, I realized that it was impossible to conduct an accurate lifecycle analysis without a completely transparent supply chain. It was also eye-opening to realize that each component was most likely sourced from a different country; the overall carbon impact from cradle to grave of the garment, though likely on the conservative side, was much more than I imagined.
